WHO IS WOOLERY?

In 2006 Midlothian police Sgt. Brian Woolery had been shot once during an intense standoff ending in 4 lawmen being shot.  Even after being shot once, he still went back to rescue a fellow officer who had been shot multiple times. As he was pulling another police officer to safety, Woolery was shot again leaving him temporarily paralyzed. Texas governor Rick Perry awarded him the Star of Texas for his heroic efforts, and we hope naming this after him lets him know that he’s our hero too!
